Our New Operations Guru Brews Up New Processes
In Wisconsin, you can never get too far from the beverage industry. Our new Director of Operations, Meena DeFilippis, joins us after 10 years with Karben4 Brewing and WiscoPop. What started as a bartender gig saw her move all the way up to Operations Director. Along the way, she gained a deep understanding of the client experience. Meena managed two website redesign projects at K4, while also troubleshooting and solving challenges with packaging. As we all know, that is no small feat.
Meena comes to us as a proactive project manager who can juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously (something we do a lot of!). She'll be your new best friend as she brings an intense attention to detail and advocates for your interests on every project.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Eating my way through a new city that’s also dog friendly. So I can try a new cuisine and get to pet dogs while I’m walking between restaurants.
What is your favorite occupation?
I always thought it would be super cool to be a marine biologist. The ocean fascinates me.
What is your most marked characteristic?
My height. I think it’s pretty hard to overlook **honk honk** an adult woman under 5 feet tall.
Who are your favorite writers?
One of my favorite writers is also from Madison, Patrick Rothfuss. He wrote The Kingkiller Chronicles: a series I’ve listened to multiple times as I eagerly await the third book.
