Redesigning site architecture to serve multiple audiences
Spanning more than 80 programs that serve undergraduates and graduate students, UW L&S turned to our team to attract new students and help existing students find the resources they need to meet degree requirements. The site also helps faculty within the College find the resources they need, and helps alumni stay connected to their Badger roots.

We dug in with the team at L&S to fix a broken architecture that was unnecessarily complex and difficult to navigate. Our redesign was more intuitive and engaging. We have maintained the site since 2014 and are currently updating the site typography to align with a recent campus rebrand.

L&S is the biggest school within UW, so we really had to get into the weeds to parse out all the content, wireframing and site architecture. We made it happen not by casting around to figure out how to do it, but by getting super organized.
