A look at our latest endeavors

Monkey Business

We don't monkey around when it comes to design's power to shape a better future. As a certified B-Corp, we enjoy working with like-minded folks who believe that a sustainable and ethical approach to business can improve both the world and the bottom line. So it was a no-brainer to partner up with our good friend, sustainability specialist (and all-around righteous homosapien) Matt Earley to build a brand and website for his consulting service. We developed a bold color palette and suite of illustrations that convey the raw optimism and resourcefulness at the heart of his organization.

Slow Your Roll, Pal.

Spring Green's Slowpoke is a lounge in the truest sense of the word — a place where you can kick back, grab a delicious beverage, strike up a conversation, and linger for a bit. We worked with owners Mike and Stacy Broh to develop a brand identity and web presence that reinforces the notion that socializing at a turtle's pace can be both fun and restorative.

Take Me Out to the Beer Game

Madison Public Library's wildly popular beer and food tasting fundraising event stepped up its game this year with a brand new visual identity that harkens back to the glory days of knuckleballs and no-hitters. You won't find peanuts and Cracker Jacks at this tailgating party, but some of Madison's finest breweries and culinary establishments are teaming up to share some out-of-this league flavor combinations. So on behalf of books...Batter up!

Sour Power

Lactobacillus acidophilus, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Saccharomyces cerevisiae... uhhh, yeah... FERMENTED STUFF! We all love a thick slab of toasty sourdough and a tangy spoonful of kimchi to keep our gut flora thriving. And we also love creating the visuals for Fermentation Fest each year. The annual event held in the beautiful rolling hills of Western Wisconsin brings together chefs, artists, and food scientists for two weekends of anaerobic awesomeness. Sour never tasted so sweet.
