Our process begins with trying to understand the needs, motivations, and issues inherent in the business objectives at hand. We search for that certain "je ne sais quoi" that is essential, yet easily missed. When we find that special something, we celebrate it.

The essential matter is the heart of a brand. When people connect they are moved to buy, to give, to engage. The behavior of an organization consistently behaving in alignment with the brand creates an experience that people can rely on and trust.

The seeds of a brand reside at the core of an organization as a handful of values and fundamental beliefs. When those seeds take root in the heart and minds of individuals they bring the brand to life. Their experiences and motivations are not all alike so the work in growing a brand is to use the best tools to reach people where they are.   

Brands grow when we listen, understand and deliver compelling content to the right audiences at the right times.

Collaboration is key

We do this work together. As a client, you are on the team in a big way. We openly share our early ideas (even the duds) to evaluate all of the possibilities. Using the best of those ideas, we begin to iterate, test assumptions, gather information about our audience's motivations, fears, hopes and dreams. We rely on each other's areas of expertise: your inside knowledge of your organization and audience, and our outside perspective and experience. Together we leverage that knowledge to create the best tools to reach your goal.  

There is no secret sanctuary where the magic happens. Everyone contributes, because we know that inspiration comes from unexpected places. We stay open to changes and welcome new ideas and ways to do things better. We challenge assumptions, define and refine deliverables throughout the process to make the most effective and flexible products for our clients.
