Kristin ‘Cricket’ Redman

Kristin hails from suburban Massachusetts. In school she studied art, graphic design and biology splitting her time between Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University and Colby College and ultimately getting a MS in Oceanography and Limnology from UW Madison after a few years working as an environmental consultant in the D.C area. She did her first HyperCard project in 1990 presenting the history of the study of climate change. The internet exploded while she was in grad school and as she resumed her career as an environmental scientist post graduation, she knew she wanted to make a change. With updated software skills and newly aquired web design skills she learned the business while working as a producer at Planet Propaganda for a couple years. In 2002 she started her own freelance gig that has evolved into the thriving studio that exists today.

Cricket speaks on creativity, design thinking and brand strategy to groups within the design community and to the larger business audience.
