Dana’s future as a graphic designer became certain when one year, she returned from summer camp to her home in Long Island, NY with hand-painted wayfinding signage for the family dog’s food dish. Dana later migrated from the east coast to study engineering at the University of Michigan, then to Madison for a stint at a software company, but her dormant creative passion was reawakened when she began drawing again in her spare time. She finally enrolled in the Graphic Design program at MATC, finding design to be the perfect marriage between her left- and right-brain aptitudes.
Since these days drawing and designing wayfinding signage are part of her job description, Dana spends her spare time brunching, avoiding contact with the disc on her ultimate team, and harvesting veggies at her worker share CSA.
